LEED, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is the fastest growing movement to hit the construction industry in a very long time and it is being especially embraced by higher education, public agencies and publicly-minded developers. LEED is a program of the U.S. Green Building Council which certifies buildings as being "green".
